Workshop on Information Sharing & Safeguarding Standards (WIS3)
The Workshop on Information Sharing and Safeguarding Standards (WIS3) is an annual event sponsored by the IJIS Institute and the Standards Coordinating Council (SCC).
The Workshop will be co-located with the Object Management Group Technical Meeting event.
This interactive workshop brings together government, standards development organizations (SDOs) and industry leaders to chart the future for architecture and standards frameworks for the national information sharing environment. Expert panel presentations will be followed by discussion sessions on contemporary topics to include:
Use cases for Maritime, and Law Enforcement Deconfliction and Requests for Information;
New National Initiatives; and,
Scaling Trust via Federating Exchange, Security & Privacy Assertions.
Attendees and presenters include representatives from Federal, state, and local governments, industry, academia, and members of standards organizations such as the Object Management Group (OMG), Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS), Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), Global Justice Advisory Committee, and the American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC).

Refund Policy for IJIS Events
Cancellations must be sent in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellations received 30 days or more before the opening of an event, will be issued a refund less a $50 cancellation fee.
Cancellations received less than 30 days before the opening of an event, are not entitled to a refund.
